Veres Picton & Co. has a long history of training and developing the next generation of professionals within our industry. We have an ongoing commitment to work with our staff to achieve their professional goals through attaining a designation and career advancement. Our firm has been committed to training CA students from its inception and has had phenomenal success with students achieving their CA designation on their first attempt. - Our students are challenged to take a project from start to finish including full preparation of financial statements and tax returns to direct communication with clients.
- Our students work on a wide range of special projects including special tax research, preparation of budgets and cash flows.
- Assistance is provided to all students pursuing a designation. We invest in our employees by covering the costs of all successful attempts within CASB, CMA or CGA courses, institute or association fees.
- We understand that students also need time to study. We provide a combination of paid and unpaid time off to prepare and write examinations and have weekly technical sessions on topics such as accounting issues, auditing methodologies, income and other taxation matters as well as other specific training courses in areas pertinent to professional development.
