Veres Picton & Co. is an Edmonton based partnership of Chartered Accountants dedicated to providing quality service in a cost- effective manner to a wide client base in Alberta. We have a solid history of providing services including accounting, audit services, management consulting and computer information consulting to a diverse array of clientele. Our Clients: The majority of our clients conduct their business locally, but a growing number are involved in activities outside our borders, either through new divisions, special project work or joint ventures.
Our Extensions: Our firm is a member of the BHD Association of Chartered Accountants, a national association of thirteen similar firms of chartered accountants with offices across Canada. This association provides us access to a resource pool of professional, technical and administration staff 350 strong, including 63 partners. Veres Picton & Co. is also a member of the International Association of Practicing Accountants (IAPA) which is an international accounting association whose membership includes over one hundred medium sized independent firms in over 40 countries. Membership in IAPA and BHD Association allows our firm to service clients anywhere in Canada and worldwide.
Industry Leaders: The management of information has become a large part of our clients' daily routine and it is no different in our business. As a result, the implementation of a paperless environment is becoming more popular as a method of managing the vast amount of information being generated by today’s businesses. We recognized the benefits and implemented an electronic document retention system in January 2005. We are now recognized by our peers as leaders in paperless environment systems.
